A second album, Death Shall Rise was recorded in Florida in 1991 with James Murphy on lead guitar followed by a European tour that year and an appearance at the Milwaukee Metal Festival. After 6 months James Murphy left and was replaced by Barry Savage followed by tours of Israel, Mexico, USA and Europe and a third album, Sins of Mankind recorded in December, 1992. The group became the first death metal group to sign for a major label when they signed with East West Records in 1994. An album, Black Faith was released in 1995. However following lack of faith from key individuals at the label, Cancer disbanded during 1996. In 2003 John Walker and Carl Stokes decided to reform the group with Adam Richardson from Assert and Rob Engvikson from Asatru, and an EP called Corporation$ was recorded. |
